Karaveliler, İzmir ilinin Bayındır ilçesine bağlı bir kentsel mahalledir.

Tarihçe

1984 yılında Büyükşehir olan İzmir'de, 2012 yılında 6360 Sayılı Yasa ile, tüm köy ve beldelerin tüzel kişiliği kaldırılmıştır. Canlı Beldesi'nin de tüzel kişiliği ve ismi kaldırılmış, bu mahalle ile birlikte mevcut 3 mahallesi (Atatürk, Cumhuriyet, Karaveliler) doğrudan Bayındır Belediyesi'nin bir mahallesi olmuştur.[6]

Coğrafya

Mahalle, İzmir il merkezine 69 km, Bayındır ilçe merkezine 11 km uzaklıktadır.[7]

Mahalle, Bayındır'ın batısında olup, D.310 numaralı İzmir-Ödemiş (Torbalı-Bayındır) Devlet Yolu ve TCDD İzmir-Ödemiş demiryolu kenarındadır.[8][9]
