Biyografisi

Michael Lynne, Brooklyn Koleji'nden mezun oldu (1961) ve Columbia Üniversitesi'nden hukuk doktoru derecesi aldı.[1][2] Hukuk okulundan tanıdığı Bob Shaye ile şans eseri karşılaştıktan sonra Lynne, 1980'lerin başında New Line Cinema'ya hukuk danışmanı olarak katıldı.[3] 1990 yılında stüdyo başkanı ve genel müdürü olarak atandı. 2001 yılında eş başkan ve genel başkan yardımcısı seçildi.

Lynne şarap toplamaya başladı ve 1999 ve 2000 yıllarında Long Island'da iki bağ satın aldı.[4]

Haziran 2008'de New Line tamamen Warner Bros. ile birleştikten sonra Shaye ve Lynne, New Line'dan ayrıldı ve Unique Features adlı bağımsız bir film şirketi kurdu.[5] Lynne, 24 Mart 2019 tarihinde kanserden öldüğünde 77 yaşındaydı.[6][7]
