Erken dönemi

Fransız Kanadalısı ve İspanyol Filipinlisi Ruiz,[1] 1964'te Montreal'de doğdu ancak Kanada'nın Quebec eyaletindeki Repentigny'de büyüdü.[2] Francoise ve Anthony Ruiz'in üç oğlundan biriydi.[3] Eğlence endüstrisinde kariyer yapmak için 20 yaşında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ne taşındı.[4] On yıl boyunca modellik yaptıktan sonra oyunculuk eğitimi almak için Los Angeles'a taşındı. 1997'de Ruiz, bağımsız Latin Boys Go to Hell adlı filmde rol aldı.[5][6]

Kişisel hayatı

Ruiz, 2016'da ölen hayat arkadaşı Martin Berusch ile 2013'te New Jersey'e taşınmıştı. Ruiz, Mayıs 2019'dan beri Wayne Schatz ile evlidir.[7]
