NGC 301, Yeni Genel Katalog'da yer alan bir galaksidir. Gökyüzünde Balina takımyıldızı yönünde bulunur. S0 tipi bir merceksi galaksidir. Amerikan astronom Frank Muller tarafından 1886 yılında 66,04 cm (26,00 in) çaplı mercekli tip bir teleskopla keşfedilmiştir.[4]
