No Time to Explain, tinyBuild tarafından geliştirilen ve yayınlanan bir platform aksiyon video oyunudur. Tom Brien ve Alex Nichiporchik tarafından tasarlanan bu oyun, Brien'in 6 Ocak 2011'de piyasaya sürülen tarayıcı oyununun halefidir. No Time to Explain Linux, Microsoft Windows ve MacOS'te yayınlanmıştır.

Oynanış

Oyun, seviyelerin çoğunda çeşitli tahrik araçlarını içeren 2 boyutlu bir yan kaydırma oyunudur. Ana yöntem, bir lazer ışını bir zaman sınırı ile ateşleyen bir jetpack olarak giyilen bir lazer tabancasıdır. Oyuncuyu çok uzak bir mesafeye fırlatan bir av tüfeği veya oyuncuyu duvardan duvara fırlatan bir sapan efekti gibi bunun birçok varyasyonu farklı seviyelerde kullanılır.

Gelişimi

Tom Brien tarafından yaratılan ve 6 Ocak 2011'de Newgrounds'da piyasaya sürülen bir tarayıcı oyunuydu. Şu anda Newgrounds'da 405.000'in üzerinde görüntüleme aldı. Açıklamaya Zaman Yok'un başarısından sonra Brien, oyunun tam sürümü üzerinde çalışmaya başlamak için Alex Nichiporchik ile birlikte çalıştı.

No Time to Açıklamanın geliştirilmesi Şubat 2011'de başladı. Oyun ilk olarak PC ve Mac için duyurulmuştu ve Windows, Mac ve Linux için Ağustos 2011'de ve Steam'de Ocak 2013'te piyasaya sürüldü. Seviyelerin çizilmek yerine bloklardan inşa edildiğini söyledi.11 Nisan 2011'de tinyBuild, projeyi desteklemek için fon toplamak için bir Kickstarter hesabı açtıklarını duyurdu. 24 saatten kısa bir süre içinde 7.000 dolarlık hedefe ulaşıldı. Kickstarter sayfası, Minecraft yaratıcısı Markus Persson'dan 2.000 dolarlık kayda değer bir katkı ile proje için 26.000 doların üzerinde para toplanmasına yardımcı oldu.
