Norman Nathan Lloyd (d. 8 Kasım 1914, Jersey City, New Jersey - ö. 11 Mayıs 2021, Los Angeles, Kaliforniya), Amerikalı aktör, dublaj sanatçısı, film yapımcısı ve yönetmeni. TV dizisi Dr. Daniel Auschlander rolünde olduğu St. Elsewhere ile dikkat çekti. Doksan yılı aşkın kariyerinde birçok türden yapımda rol aldı. Son dönemlerinde 2010 yılında Modern Family adluı TV dizisinde konuk oyuncu olarak yer aldı.

Yaşamı

Lloyd, 8 Kasım 1914'te Jersey City, New Jersey'de doğdu.[1] New York'ta bulunan Sivil Repertuar Tiyatrosu'nda oyunculuk eğitimi gördü.

Kariyeri

Lloyd, 1942 yapımı yönetmen Alfred Hitchcock imzalı Saboteur adlı film ile Hollywood'a adım attı. Yakın dostu olan Hitchcock ile hem oyunculuk kariyerinde hem de dost olarak uzun yıllar beraberlikleri oldu.

Sonraki kariyeri

Birkaç kötü film denemesinin ardından, Lloyd yönetmen Lewis Milestone imzalı 1948 yapımı Arch of Triumph adlı filmde kamera asistanıydı. Yakın oyuncu arkadaşı John Garfield ile birlikte He Ran All the Way adlı filmde beraber rol aldı. Garfield Hollywood kara listesine girmeden önceki bu son filminden oyunculuk kariyerini bitirdi.

Özel yaşamı ve ölümü

Lloyd, 1936 yılında evlendiği eşi Peggy Craven ile onun 2011'de vefatına kadar beraberliğini sürdürdü iki çocukları oldu. Lloyd, 11 Mayıs 2021'de Los Angeles, Kaliforniya'daki aile evinde 106 yaşında solunum yetmezliğinden öldü.[2][3]
