Psikopatoloji

Psikopatoloji, duygu, düşünce ve davranış bozukluğu, ruhsal bunalım, anormal/uyumsuz davranış üzerine araştırma dalıdır. Bu terim genel olarak psikiyatride patolojinin hastalık süreci olarak kullanılır. Medikal olmayan psikoloji dilinde Anormal psikoloji de psikopatoloji olarak kullanılır.

Psikolopatoloji, duygu, düşünce ve davranışta sorunlu bir durumun varlığını tanımlar. Evde, işte, sosyal yaşamda işlev bozukluğu söz konusudur. Kişinin kendisinde ve/veya çevresinde sıkıntı/tehlike oluşturur.[1]

Psikopatolojinin Konusu

Bir konunun, psikopatoloji dahilinde olması için, onun normlardan sapma derecesi (istatistikler, normlar, sosyal normlar ve gelişimsel normlar hesaba katılır), davranışın uyumsuzluk derecesi, davranış şıklığı, davranış şiddeti ve süresi, bireyin bireysel ve zihinsel işlem görme düzeyi, duygusal dışavurum ve kontrol, kişinin gerçekliği algılama ve sosyal ilişkilerle baş etme şekli ele alanır.[2]

Gelişimsel Psikopatoloji

Birbirinden ayrı ve farklı disiplinlerin çabalarıyla ortaya çıkan yeni bir yaklaşımdır. Bu disiplinler kültürel antropoloji, embriyoloji, genetik, felsefe, psikiyatri, psikanaliz, klinik psikoloji, gelişim psikolojisi, deneysel psikoloji ve sosyolojidir. Günümüzde teorisyenler ve araştırmacılar, duygu, düşünce ve davranış bozukluğu geliştirme riski yüksek bireylerle çalışarak gelişimsel psikopatolojiye katkıda bulunmuşlardır. Gelişimsel psikopatoloji yaklaşımı, bireyin gelişimini ve işlevselliğini anlayabilmek için farklı disiplinlerin katılımı ile daha geniş, bütünleyici bir çerçeve sunmaktadır.[3]
