SA-18 Grouse

9K38 Igla (Igla, Rusçada iğne anlamına gelmektedir), Sovyetler Birliği tarafından üretilen ve bir personel tarafından omuzdan atılan ısı güdümlü portatif bir alçak irtifa hava savunma sistemidir. NATO kod adı SA-18 Grouse'dir. Amerikan yapımı FIM-92 Stinger sisteminin Doğu Bloku'ndaki karşılığıdır.

Çalışmalarına 1970'li yıllarda başlanan 9K38 Igla, KBM firması tarafından, aynı aileden gelen 9K310 Igla-1 (SA-16 Gimlet) temel alınarak geliştirilmiştir ve ilk olarak 1983'te Sovyet Ordusunda hizmete girmiş, ardından pek çok Sovyet destekli ordunun temel alçak irtifa hava savunma silahı olmuştur. Sovyetler Birliği'nin dağılmasından sonra da karaborsa yoluyla dünya üzerine -özellikle de terörist gruplara- yayılmıştır.

9K38 Igla'nın temel ateş gücünü 1.27 kg'lık HE patlayıcıya sahip 9M39 füzesi sağlamaktadır. Füze, azami 5.200 m menzile (minimum 500 m) ve azami 3.500 m irtifaya (minimum 10 m) sahiptir. Füze ağırlığı 10.6 kg olup kanişter ağırlığı da 17 kg'dir. Füze saniyede 680 m hızla hedefe yönelir ve saniyede 400 m hızın altında hareket eden hedeflere karşı kullanılabilir. İsabetli atış yüzdesi %30-48 iken bu oran IRCM jammer kullanan platformlara karşı %24-30'a kadar düşmektedir. Füze 6 saniyede kaniştere yerleştirilebilmekte ve sistem 13 saniyede bir sonraki atışa hazır hale getirilebilmektedir.

1990'lı yıllarda Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri'nin ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda 48 adet 9K38 Igla sistemi ve 600+ 9M39 füzesi Slovakya'dan satın alınmıştır. 9M39 füzeleri gerek duyulduğunda Atılgan ve Zıpkın KMS sistemlerine de entegre edilebilmektedir.
