Danang — Vyetnamning markaziy qismidagi shahar. Kuangnamdanang provinsiyasining maʼmuriy markazi. Aholisi 382,6 ming kishi (1990-yillar oʻrtalari). Jan. Xitoy dengizining Danang buxtasi sohilidagi yirik port (Xoshimindan keyin 2-oʻrinda). Transport yoʻllari tuguni. Savdo markazi, oziq-ovqat va yengil sanoat, mexanika, kauchuk i. ch., plastmassa, qurilish materiallari, ip va ipak gazlama korxonalari, muzey bor. D. yaqinidan koʻmir va oltin qazib olinadi.

Iqlimi

Danang odatda musson tropik iqlimi, yuqori harorat va past volatillikda joylashgan. Da Nangning iqlimi Shimoldagi subtropik iqlim va Janubiy janubdagi tropik iqlimi bilan ajralib turadigan Janubiy Savanna tropiklari o'rtasida o'tish davri. Har yili ikkita alohida fasl bor: yomg'ir mavsumi sentyabrdan dekabrgacha va yanvar-avgust oylarida quruq mavsumda, ba'zan sovuq qish bilan, ammo jasur va doimiy emas.
