厄內斯特·蓋爾納 (1925年12月9日—1995年11月5日)是一名捷克裔英國 哲學家和社會人類學家,批判的理性主义 學派的一名領頭人[1] ,畢生反對共產主義 、精神分析學 以及相對主義 等思想。他在牛津大學貝利奧爾學院 修讀哲學、政治學及經濟學 ,並且曾在愛丁堡大學 、倫敦政治經濟學院 、劍橋大學國王學院 以及中歐大學 出任教職。[2]
