Alt-J adalah grup musik indie rock asal Inggris yang dibentuk tahun 2007 di Leeds, Inggris, oleh Gwil Sainsbury (gitar/bass), Joe Newman (gitar/vokal), Thom Sonny Green (drum) and Gus Unger-Hamilton (keyboard/vokal).

Album debut grup musik tersebut An Awesome Wave dirilis tahun 2012 dan memenangkan penghargaan Mercury Prize.[5] Pada awal 2014, Gwil Sainsbury memutuskan untuk meninggalkan grup musik ini.
