Amphicarpum (nama umum maidencane)[2] adalah genus tumbuhan Amerika Utara dalam suku rumput-rumputan, yang hanya ditemukan di bagian timur Amerika Serikat.[3][4]
Deskripsi
Amphicarpum sebagian besar ditemukan di Amerika Serikat bagian Timur Laut dan Tenggara.[5] Tumbuhan ini biasanya ditemukan di lahan basah di dekat sungai dan danau. Rumput ini memiliki dua jenis bunga, satu jenis aerial (di atas permukaan tanah) dan satu jenis di bawah tanah yang melakukan penyerbukan sendiri.[6]
