Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO) adalah badan intelijen pemerintah Australia, bagian dari Departemen Pertahanan, yang bertugas mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan menyebarkan intelijen geospasial (GEOINT) untuk mendukung pertahanan dan kepentingan nasional Australia. Sejarah
Defence Imagery and Geospatial Organisation (DIGO) dibentuk pada tanggal 28 November 1982 dengan menggabungkan Australian Imagery Organisation dan Directorate of Strategic Military Geographic Information yang bermarkas di Canberra dan Defence Topographic Agency (sekarang Geospatial Analysis Centre) yang bermarkas di Bendigo. DIGO adalah bagian dari Departemen Pertahanan Australia.
DIGO berganti nama menjadi Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation pada 3 Mei 2013.[2]
Operasi
Pada tahun 2014, AGO membantu pencarian puing-puing Malaysia Airlines Penerbangan 370.[3][4][5]
Operasi badan ini diawasi secara independen oleh Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security.[6]
