Barclayopsis urceolata adalah spesies fosil dari familia Nymphaeaceae[2] yang berasal dari zaman Maastrichtian[1][3] dan Paleosen[3][4] di Eisleben, Jerman.[5]

Deskripsi

Biji yang berbentuk oval hingga membulat dengan lebar 2–3 mm ini memiliki testa dua lapis[6][7] setebal hingga 0,15 mm.[6]

Taksonomi

Spesies ini diterbitkan oleh Ervin Knobloch dan Dieter Hans Mai pada tahun 1984.[2][6]

Etimologi

Epitet spesifik urceolata berarti urseolat, atau berbentuk seperti kendi.[8]
