Belphegor adalah band blackened death metal yang berasal dari Salzburg, Austria. Pertama kali di dirikan pada tahun 1991 dengan nama Betrayer sebelum akhir nya berganti nama pada tahun 1993. Nama band ini di ambil dari nama Makhluk satanisme Belphegor. Gaya musik mereka sering disebut-sebut sebagai "diabolic death metal".[1]
