Benjamin Silliman (8 Agustus 1779 – 24 November 1864) adalah seorang kimiawan dan pengajar sains Amerika Serikat awal.[1] Ia adalah salah satu profesor sains Amerika Serikat pertama, di Yale College, orang pertama yang memakai pengolahan distilasi fraksional di Amerika, dan pendiri American Journal of Science, jurnal saintifik tertua yang masih dipublikasikan di Amerika Serikat.[2]
