Bera

Menurut Alkitab, Bera (bahasa Ibrani: בֶּ֫רַע‎ Beraʿ ) (diyakini artinya "hadiah"[1]) adalah raja dari kota Sodom, yang disebutkan dalam Kejadian 14:2, "… bahwa raja-raja ini berperang melawan Bera, raja Sodom." Para cendekiawan terbagi terhadap Kejadian 14. Menurut Frances Anderson, "Opini-opini terbentang dari pengidentifikasian Kejadian 14 sebagai sebuah potongan fiksi" sampai para cendekiawan yang meyakini bahwa terdapat "beberapa fondasi sejarah" di balik naratif yang berkaitan.[2]
