Bobbio (Bobis: Bòbi; bahasa Liguria: Bêubbi; bahasa Latin: Bobium) adalah sebuah komune Italia yang berpenduduk sekitar 3.800 jiwa. Terletak di jantung Val Trebbia, sebuah lembah yang digambarkan oleh Ernest Hemingway sebagai "yang paling indah di dunia".[1] Kota ini terletak di kaki Gunung Penice, 1.460 meter (4.790 ft) di atas permukaan laut, di tepi kiri sungai Trebbia. Sejarahnya diidentifikasi dengan Keabasan yang didirikan pada tahun 614 oleh Santo Kolumbanus seorang misionaris Irlandia, dan sebagai hasilnya, keabasan ini menjadi salah satu pusat utama budaya keagamaan di Italia abad pertengahan, rumah bagi perpustakaan dan basilika.
