Acanthurus , botana atau butana adalah salah satu genus ikan laut dalam famili Acanthuridae. Ikan ini ditemukan di Samudera Atlantik, Hindia, dan Pasifik. Mereka ditemukan di lautan tropis, terutama di dekat terumbu karang, dengan sebagian besar spesiesnya terdapat di lautan Indo-Pasifik dan sedikit yang ditemukan di Samudera Atlantik. Seperti anggota keluarga acanthuridae lainnya, ikan ini memiliki sepasang duri, salah satunya terdapat di kedua sisi pangkal ekor yang sangat tajam dan berbahaya.[2]
