Bro Code

Dalam budaya masyarakat, Bro Code merujuk pada etiket yang perlu diikuti kaum pria. Istilah ini dipopulerkan oleh Barney Stinson, salah satu tokoh How I Met Your Mother. Ada berbagai macam "Bro Code" yang dapat digunakan.

Kalimat ini dipakai oleh tokoh The Office, Michael Scott, dalam episode A Benihana Christmas.

The Bro Code adalah buku yang ditulis oleh pencipta seri How I Met Your Mother, Carter Bays dan Craig Thomas, dan salah satu penulis acaranya, Matt Kuhn. Diterbitkan oleh Simon & Schuster, buku ini membahas 150 peraturan dalam bentuk artikel tentang apa yang harus atau tidak boleh dilakukan laki-laki ("bros").[1] Buku tersebut ditulis oleh penulis pena Barney Stinson dan Kuhn. Kuhn juga menulis sendiri blog Barney, blog yang sering dipromosikan Barney di seri televisi tersebut. Buku ini pertama kali diperkenalkan di episode The Goat.[3] Greig Dymond dari CBC.ca menyebut buku ini "panduan etiket candaan untuk para lelaki yang bergairah."[4]
