Coronin, protein pengikat aktin, 2A adalah protein yang pada manusia dikodekan oleh gen CORO2A^[5]

Gen ini mengkodekan anggota dari kelompok protein pengulangan WD. Pengulangan WD adalah bagian konservasi minimal dari sekitar 40 asam amino yang biasanya dikurung oleh gly-his dan trp-asp (GH-WD), yang dapat memfasilitasi pembentukan kompleks heterotrimerik atau multiprotein. Anggota keluarga protein ini terlibat dalam berbagai proses seluler, termasuk perkembangan siklus sel, transduksi sinyal, apoptosis, dan regulasi gen. Protein ini mengandung 5 pengulangan WD, dan memiliki kemiripan struktural dengan protein pengikat aktin: D. discoideum coronin dan protein p57 manusia. Hal ini adalah indikasi bahwa protein ini mungkin juga merupakan protein pengikat aktin yang mengatur motilitas sel. Penyambungan alternatif gen ini menghasilkan 2 varian transkrip.^[5]
