Christopher K. Chase-Dunn (lahir 10 Januari 1944, Corvallis, Oregon) adalah sosiolog Amerika Serikat yang dikenal atas sumbangannya terhadap teori sistem dunia.^[1]

Chase-Dunn mendapat gelar Ph.D. pada tahun 1975 dari Universitas Stanford^[2] (di bawah bimbingan John W. Meyer) dan menjadi dosen di Universitas Johns Hopkins (1975–2000) dan Universitas California, Riverside (2000-sekarang). Ia merupakan anggota American Association for the Advancement of Science dan menjabat sebagai Presiden Komite Penelitian 02 (Ekonomi dan Masyarakat) International Sociological Association pada tahun 2002–06. Ia juga pernah menjadi Kepala Seksi Ekonomi Politik Internasional di International Studies Association tahun 1984–86, dan Kepala Seksi Ekonomi Politik Sistem Dunia di American Sociological Association tahun 1982. Ia mendirikan Institute for Research on World-Systems di Universitas California, Riverside.
