Coburg adalah sebuah kota otonom atau kotamadya (Kreisfreie Stadt) di Bayern, Jerman. Pada tahun 2005, penduduknya mencapai 42.015 jiwa. Setelah lama menjadi salah satu negara bagian Thüringen dari trah Wettin, Coburg bergabung dengan Bayern dengan suara rakyat pada tahun 1920. Sebelum tahun 1918, Coburg adalah salah satu dari 2 ibu kota terkecil di kadipaten gabungan Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha.
Lambang Coburg yang menghormati Santo Mauritius dianugerahkan pada tahun 1493.
