Coryphaena adalah genus ikan bersirip kipas yang hidup di laut dan merupakan satu-satunya genus ikan dalam famili Coryphaenidae (Keluarga ikan lemadang). Penamaannya berasal dari kata dalam bahasa Yunani yakni κορυφή (koryphē atau "mahkota", atau "puncak") dan -αινα (-aina, akhiran feminin).[1] Spesies ikan dalam genus ini memiliki kepala padat dan sirip punggung tunggal yang membentang di sepanjang tubuhnya.

Hanya terdapat dua spesies ikan dalam genus ini yakni Coryphaena equiselis dan Coryphaena hippurus[2]
