Cuphea /ˈkjuːfiːə/[2] adalah genus yang mengandung sekitar 260 spesies tumbuhan berbunga semusim dan menahun yang berasal dari daerah beriklim sedang hingga tropika di Amerika. Spesiesnya berkisar dari tumbuhan terna yang tumbuh rendah hingga perdu semi-kayu dengan tinggi hingga 2 m. Namanya berasal dari kata Yunani κυφος (kyphos, artinya "bengkok", "melengkung", atau "punuk").[3]
