Dacryodes longifolia adalah spesies pohon dalam keluarga Burseraceae.[2][3] Epitet spesifik longifolia berasal dari bahasa Latin yang berarti 'berdaun panjang'.[4]

Deskripsi

Dacryodes longifolia tumbuh setinggi 40 meter (130 ft). Kulit batangnya berwarna abu-abu gelap dan halus. Bunganya berwarna putih. Buahnya yang berbentuk elips berukuran panjang hingga 35 cm (14 in).[4]

Penyebaran dan habitat

Dacryodes longifolia merupakan tanaman asli Sumatra, Semenanjung Malaya, Kalimantan, dan Filipina. Habitatnya berada di hutan dataran rendah hingga submontana, dari permukaan laut hingga ketinggian 1.500 meter (5.000 ft).[4]
