Dönmeh
Dönmeh (bahasa Turki: Dönme) adalah istilah yang merujuk pada sekelompok orang Yahudi di Kesultanan Utsmaniyah yang secara resmi masuk Islam, tetapi diam-diam tetap menganut ajaran agama Yahudi. Pergerakan ini berpusat di Salonica.[1] Kelompok ini muncul pada masa hidup Sabbatai Zevi, seorang kabalis Yahudi pada abad ke-17 yang menyatakan diri sebagai seorang mesias dan pada akhirnya memilih masuk Islam agar tidak dihukum mati oleh Sultan Mehmed IV. Setelah Zevi masuk Islam, sejumlah pengikutnya mengikuti jejaknya dan menjadi Dönmeh.[2] Semenjak abad ke-20, Dönmeh yang terasimilasi telah menikah dengan kelompok etnis lain di Turki.
