Elk tule (Cervus canadensis nannodes) adalah sebuah subspesies elk yang hanya ditemukan di California, yang tersebar dari tanah rumput dan tanah rawa Central Valley sampai perbukitan berrumput di pesisir. Kala bangsa Eropa mul-amula datang, sekitar 500.000 elk tule tersebar di wilayah tersebut. Namun, pada 1870, mereka dianggap telah punah. Pada 1874–1875, pasangan pembuahan tunggal ditemukan di rawa Danau Buena Vista di Lembah San Joaquin selatan. Tindakan konservasi diambil untuk melindungi spesies tersebut pada 1970an.
