Etil azida

Etil azida (CH3CH2N3) merupakan senyawa yang mudah meledak dan sensitif terhadap pemanasan cepat, guncangan atau benturan. Senyawa ini meledak ketika dipanaskan hingga mencapai suhu ruangan. Ketika dipanaskan hingga terurai, senyawa ini mengeluarkan asap beracun NOx.[1][2][3][4]

Penggunaan

Etil azida digunakan untuk sintesis organik.
