Furculattus adalah sebuah genus laba-laba pada famili Salticidae (laba-laba peloncat). Satu-satunya spesies dari genus ini adalah Furculattus maxillosus. Laba-laba ini dapat ditemukan di Semenanjung Gazelle di New Britain dan Pulau Papua, di kanopi hutan hujan.[1]

Ciri

Kedua jenis kelamin memiliki "tanduk" tak biasa di antara mata posterior mereka. Betina memiliki panjang tubuh hingga 3 mm, sementara jantannya sedikit lebih besar, yang merupakan hal yang tidak biasa untuk kebanyakan laba-laba

Hubungan

F. maxillosus tampaknya berhubungan dengan genera Chalcolecta, Diolenius, Lystrocteisa, Sobasina, Tarodes, Udvardya dan beberapa lainnya.[2]
