Idem
idem adalah istilah bahasa Latin yang berarti "sama". Istilah ini biasanya disingkat menjadi id., yang secara khusus digunakan dalam kutipan resmi untuk menunjukkan sumber yang dikutip sebelumnya (bandingkan dengan ibid.). Kalimat ini juga digunakan dalam kutipan akademis untuk menggantikan nama penulis berulang.
Id. digunakan secara luas dalam undang-undang Kanada dan dalam dokumen hukum Amerika Serikat untuk menerapkan deskripsi singkat ke bagian dengan fokus yang sama seperti sebelumnya.[1]
