Private James Dunlavy (4 Februari 1844 – 6 Maret 1923) adalah seorang prajurit Amerika Serikat yang berjuang dalam Perang Saudara Amerika. Dunlavy meraih penghargaan tertinggi negara tersebut untuk keberanian saat bertempur, Medal of Honor, karena menangkap Mayjen John S. Marmaduke dalam Pertempuran Mine Creek pada 25 Oktober 1864. Ia dianugerahi penghargaan tersebut pada 4 April 1865.[1][2][3]
