Jerry Alan Fodor (22 April 1935 – 29 November 2017) adalah seorang filsuf Amerika dan ilmuwan kognitif.[1] Dia menjabat sebagai Profesor Filsafat negara bagian New Jersey di Universitas Rutgers dan penulis memiliki banyak karya di bidang filsafat budi dan ilmu kognitif, di mana ia telah meletakkan dasar untuk 'modularitas budi' dan hipotesis 'bahasa pemikiran', di antara ide-ide lainnya.
