Joseph Frederick Sutter (21 Maret 1921 – 30 Agustus 2016) adalah seorang insinyur Amerika untuk Boeing Airplane Company dan manajer tim desain untuk Boeing 747 di bawah Malcolm T. Stamper, kepala proyek 747.[3] Majalah Air & Space/Smithsonian menggambarkan Sutter sebagai "bapak dari 747".
