Kalender Tibet

Kalender Tibet (bahasa Tibet: ལོ་ཐོ,Wylie: lo-tho) adalah kalender suryacandra yang terdiri dari 12 atau 13 bulan lunar, setiap permulaan dan akhir dengan bulan baru. Bulan ketiga belas ditambahkan setiap dua atau tiga tahun, sehingga tahun Tibet rata-rata sama dengan tahun matahari.

Perayaan Tahun Baru Tibet dinamakan Losar (bahasa Tibet: ལོ་གསར་,Wylie: lo-gsar). Menurut almanak tahun dimulai dengan bulan ketiga Hor. Terdapat banyak tradisi berbeda di Tibet untuk memperbaiki permulaan tahun.
