Karakorum (bahasa Mongol: каракорум) adalah ibu kota Kekaisaran Mongolia, meskipun hanya untuk selama 30 tahun. Reruntuhannya terletak di Provinsi Övörkhangai, Mongolia, di dekat Kharkhorin. Karakorum merupakan bagian dari Lembah Orkhon yang merupakan Situs Warisan Dunia UNESCO.
