Kode Locator Geografis

Kode Lokasi Geografis (Bahasa Inggris: Geographic Location Codes) adalah sistem pengkodean yang menetapkan kombinasi huruf dan angka untuk mengidentifikasi lokasi geografis di Amerika Serikat dan di luar negeri. Kode ini digunakan oleh agen federal dalam sistem informasi untuk penunjukan lokasi secara standar.

Penggunaan GLC bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi pertukaran data yang dapat dibaca mesin antar lembaga dalam komunitas federal, serta antara instansi federal dan pemerintah negara bagian maupun lokal. Selain itu, beberapa perusahaan juga menggunakan GLC sebagai standar pengkodean, khususnya dalam interaksi administratif dengan pemerintah, termasuk pelaporan dan pengelolaan pajak. GLC dikelola oleh Administrasi Layanan Umum Amerika Serikat (General Services Administration).[1]
