Magnesia (bahasa Yunani: Μαγνησία, Magnisía, IPA: [maɣniˈsia]), dari nama suku Magnetes, adalah salah satu unit periferal di Yunani. Magnesia adalah bagian dari periferi Thessalia. Ibu kotanya adalah Volos. Sekitar 70% penduduk Magnesia tinggal di daerah Volos Besar, yang merupakan kota terbesar kedua di Thessalia dan merupakan pelabuhan dagang tersibuk ketiga di Yunani. Berdasarkan sensus terkini (2001), penduduknya sekitar 207.000 orang. Prefektur ini dikunjungi oleh sekitar 2.000.000 wisatawan setiap tahun.[1] Magnesia diwakili oleh lima orang di Parlemen Yunani.
