Magnolia macclurei (sin. Michelia macclurei) adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam keluarga Magnoliaceae, yang berasal dari Tiongkok selatan, termasuk Hainan, dan Vietnam utara.[2] Pohon yang mencapai 30 m (98 ft) ini ditemukan tumbuh di hutan berdaun lebar yang selalu hijau, dari ketinggian 200 hingga 1.500 m (700 hingga 4.900 ft) di atas permukaan laut.[3]

Ketika Floyd Alonzo McClure pertama kali menemukan spesies ini pada tahun 1925, ia mencatat dalam buku catatannya bahwa, "Wewangian bunganya adalah yang paling memabukkan yang pernah saya hirup."[3] Di Tiongkok, tanaman ini dipanen untuk kayunya dan digunakan sebagai pohon peneduh jalan di sejumlah kota di Tiongkok selatan.[3][4] Di Florida, tanaman ini ditanam sebagai tanaman hias dan tersedia di pembibitan komersial.[3]
