Martin Kove (/ˈkoʊv/; lahir 6 Maret 1946[2]) adalah seorang aktor dan seniman bela diri asal Amerika Serikat. Ia terkenal karena perannya sebagai John Kreese, antagonis utama dari The Karate Kid (1984). Kove mengulangi peran tersebut dalam The Karate Kid Part II ( 1986), The Karate Kid Part III (1989), dan serial televisi Cobra Kai (2018–2025). Ia juga muncul sebagai Nero the Hero dalam Death Race 2000 (1975), dan setelah itu sebagai Clem dalam White Line Fever (1975). Kove adalah pemain tetap dalam serial TV Cagney and Lacey (1982–1988), memerankan Detektif Polisi Victor Isbecki. Ia juga muncul dalam Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) dan Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019).

Kehidupan awal

Martin Kove lahir dalam keluarga Yahudi pada tanggal 6 Maret 1946, di Brooklyn. Ia bersekolah di SMA Valley Stream Central sebelum melanjutkan pendidikan di ITT Technical Institute - Kampus Maumee.[3]

Kehidupan pribadi

Kove adalah ayah dari anak kembar, lahir pada tahun 1990.[4] Salah satu anak kembarnya, Jesse, memerankan pemuda yang menindas versi muda dari karakter ayahnya, John Kreese, dalam kilas balik untuk musim 3 dan 4 Cobra Kai.[5]
