Fra' Robert Matthew Festing (30 November 1949 – 12 November 2021) adalah Pangeran dan Grand Master Ordo Militer Berdaulat Malta ke-79. Ia mengundurkan diri dari jabatan Grand Master pada 24 Januari 2017 setelah bersengketa dengan Vatikan.[1] Ia masih menjadi Grand Master sampai pengunduran dirinya diterima oleh Dewan Berdaulat pada 28 Januari 2017.[2][3]

Festing menggantikan rekannya Andrew Bertie, yang menjadikannya orang Inggris ketiga yang menjabat sebagai Grand Master Ordo Malta sejak 1258.

Meninggal

Festing tiba-tiba pingsan saat menghadiri sebuah acara di Valletta pada 4 November 2021, dan meninggal delapan hari kemudian di rumah sakit. Ia meninggal pada usia 71 tahun.[4]
