Muršili II

Mursili II (juga dibaca Mursilis II) merupakan seorang raja Het (kerajaan baru) skt. 1321–1295 SM (kronologi pendek).[1]

Mursili adalah putra ketiga Raja Suppiluliuma I, salah satu tokoh paling berkuasa yang memerintah kerajaan Het, dan Henti. Ia adalah adik Arnuwanda II, ia juga memiliki seorang saudari dan seorang saudara lainnya.

Mursili dikenal memiliki beberapa anak dengan istri pertamanya Gassulawiya termasuk tiga orang putra bernama Muwatalli, Hattusili III dan Halpasulupi. Seorang putri bernama Massanauzzi (disebut Matanaza di dalam korespondensi dengan raja Mesir Ramses II) menikah dengan Masturi, seorang penguasa negara vasal. Mursili memiliki putra-putra lainnya dari istri keduanya yang bernama Tanuhepa. Namun nama putra-putranya dari istri keduanya itu tidak tercatat.[2]

Melalui putranya Muwatalli ia memiliki seorang cucu yang juga memerintah kerajaan, Mursili III, Ratu Maathorneferure dan Tudḫaliya IV juga adalah cucu Mursili II.
