Natron atau natrium karbonat dekahidrat (Na2CO3·H2O10) adalah sejenis mineral alami. Mineral ini terbentuk dari campuran natrium karbonat (Na₂CO₃) sejenis soda abu sebagai komponen utama, sekitar 17% natrium bikarbonat (NaHCO₃) atau soda kue, dan sejumlah kecil natrium klorida dan natrium sulfat.[1] Natron berwarna putih keabuan atau hampir tidak berwarna ketika murni. Endapan natron terkadang ditemukan di dasar danau garam yang terbentuk di lingkungan yang kering dan tandu seperti gurun pasir. Natron telah digunakan sejak 4000 tahun SM di Mesir Kuno. Penggunaannya meliputi berbagai hal, termasuk proses pembuatan mumi hingga pembuatan gelas dan wadah.[2]
