Wonka (sebelumnya Nestlé Candy Shop dan The Willy Wonka Candy Company) adalah merek makanan manis yang dimiliki dan dilisensikan oleh perusahaan Swiss Nestlé. Pada tahun 2018, merek dan hak produksi dijual kepada Ferrero Group.

Sejarah

Awal

Awal mula merek Wonka berasal dari materi yang dilisensikan dari penulis Inggris Roald Dahl. Novel anak-anak klasiknya yang terbit tahun 1964, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, dan adaptasi filmnya merupakan sumber kemasan dan gaya pemasaran merek Wonka. Dahl telah melisensikan nama "Wonka" kepada sutradara film Mel Stuart. Produser film, David L. Wolper, meyakinkan Quaker Oats Company untuk memberikan dana sebesar $3 juta guna membiayai film tersebut dengan imbalan hak penggunaan nama Wonka untuk menjual cokelat batangan.[1]
