Podiata (Cavalier-Smith, 2012, tidak termasuk Ancyromonadida)[1] adalah sebuah klad yang mencakup Amorphea (termasuk Opisthokonta, Amoebozoa, apusomonadidae, dan breviatea) serta organisme yang kini ditempatkan ke dalam klad CRuMs.[2] Ancyromonadida tampaknya tidak muncul dalam pengelompokan ini.[3][4] Sarcomastigota (Cavalier-Smith, 1983) adalah usulan subkerajaan (kini terbukti bersifat parafiletik) yang mencakup semua podiata yang bukan hewan atau fungi.[5]  Sulcozoa (Cavalier-Smith, 2012) adalah usulan filum (kini terbukti bersifat parafiletik) di dalam Sarcomastigota yang tidak mencakup filum Amoebozoa (klad) dan Choanozoa (parafiletik), yakni mencakup usulan subfilum Apusozoa dan Varisulca.[6]
