Samar adalah sebuah pulau di Visayas, Filipina tengah dan merupakan pulau terbesar ketiga di negara ini. Pulau ini dibagi menjadi tiga provinsi: Provinsi Samar (dua perlima bagian), provinsi Northern Samar, dan Eastern Samar. Kota terbesar di pulau ini adalah Catbalogan dengan jumlah penduduk lebih dari 90.000 jiwa.
