Rosselia adalah genus tumbuhan dalam keluarga Burseraceae. Satu-satunya spesies adalah Rosselia bracteata, yang endemik di Papua Nugini. Tumbuhan ini berupa pohon dan terutama tumbuh di bioma tropis basah.[2]
Baik genus maupun spesies ini disirkumskripsi oleh Lewis Leonard Forman dalam Kew Bull. vol. 49 pada halaman 603 tahun 1994.[2]
Nama genus Rosselia diambil dari Pulau Rossel yang dinamai untuk menghormati Élisabeth-Paul-Édouard de Rossel (1765–1829), seorang astronom dan Master-at-arms asal Prancis. Ia berada di frigat 'La Recherche' bersama Joseph Antoine Raymond Bruny d'Entrecasteaux dalam misi pencarian ekspedisi La Pérouse yang hilang, yang kemudian ditulis pada tahun 1809.[3]
