SDHB adalah berkas genetik pada kromosom 1 lokasi 1p36.1-p35 dengan ekspresi genetik berupa protein sub-unit B dari suksinat dehidrogenase. Sub-unit B terdiri dari 3 kluster yang kaya akan sisteina. Mutasi pada gen akan menyebabkan paraganglioma dan feokromositoma, disfungsi mitokondria dan tumorigenesis.[5]
