Sentinel-2A adalah satelit pencitraan optik Eropa diluncurkan pada 2015. Ini adalah satelit Sentinel-2 pertama diluncurkan sebagai bagian dari program Copernicus yang diadakan oleh Badan Antariksa Eropa. Satelit membawa berbagai petak-resolusi tinggi imager multispektral dengan 13 band spektral. Ini akan melakukan pengamatan terestrial dalam mendukung layanan seperti pemantauan hutan, deteksi perubahan lahan tutupan, dan manajemen bencana alam.

Sentinel 2A diluncurkan pada tanggal 23 Juni 2015 dengan roket Vega di 01:52 GMT (03:52 WIT).
