Stratodus adalah sebuah genus ikan aulopiform punah yang diketahui dari strata laut periode Kapur di Kansas,[1] Alabama,[2] Maroko,[3] Israel,[4] Niger,[5] South Dakota,[6] dan Yordania.[7] Ikan ini juga telah ditemukan di di Formasi Tamaguélelt di Mali, berasal dari Eosen awal, yang mengindikasikan bahwa Stratodus selamat dari Peristiwa kepunahan Kapur–Paleogen.[8] Ikan mulus ini memiliki rahang atas yang menyandang beberapa baris gigi kecil, serta menjadi ikan aulopiform terbesar, denagn panjang mencapai 5 meter.[9]
